Fear Avoidance of Work Beliefs Amongst Workers Reporting Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders in Kenya

Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMSDs) are a devastating concern to the working population globally. WRMSD can result in disability, especially cases where diagnosis and treatment delayed. The primary objective of this study was determine proportions flower farm workers exhibiting Fear Avoidance work beliefs among reporting work-related at Kenya. secondary relationship between Beliefs over previous 12 months socio-demographic characteristics. A cross-sectional descriptive conducted. sample 270 participants drawn from 897 workers, which 184 presented with as assessed using Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire. Quantitative data were collected Inferential statistics analyzed Pearson's chi-squared test (X2) based on an alpha level p< 0.05. Descriptive frequencies percentages. Respondents who reported Decreased Risk persistent Problems 67 (36.4%), Increased Reporting No Improvement 50 (27.2%), for Not Returning To 34 (18.5%) while those Work 33 (17.9%). There no correlation Flower Kenya found exhibit avoidance beliefs.
